About the Opportunity

We are currently expanding and have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Project Manager/Coordinator to join our team at our Surrey office. 

As the new Project Manager/Coordinator reporting directly to the Director of Nuframe Concrete Division, you play a key role in developing the department and its projects. Your tasks will involve establishing systems and processes ahead of new projects, ensuring site continuity, managing price finalizations and submissions, and handling estimating and administration.

Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to) working on:

  • Estimating project requirements through takeoffs, project historical data entry, and maintaining applicable spreadsheets
  • Building Systems and Processes, including developing Employee Progression Charts, Employee Positional Job Descriptions, Standard Operating Procedures, Task Completion Checklists, and Safe Work Practices
  • Compiling project documentation such as Material Tracking, Checklists, project info binders for site teams, RFI/SI, JHA’s, and Inspection tracking
  • Managing site communications and ensuring seamless information flow
  • Overseeing administration tasks, including budget data entry, employee training, WorkSafe reporting, and payroll tracking

About You

In order to qualify for this position, you will need a minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination/management in the construction industry, or equivalent relevant experience. In addition, this role requires a Valid Driver’s License.

The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:

  • Project Management certificate such as PMP (asset)
  • Proficiency in project estimation and takeoff software
  • Experience with developing and maintaining project management systems and processes
  • Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements in the construction industry
  • Ability to compile and manage project documentation and communications effectively
  • Familiarity with budget management and payroll tracking
  • Ability to identify needs and opportunities for improvement
  • Exceptional organizational skills for effective task management
  • Willingness and capability to create and document processes and procedures
